Overview

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Commercial Finance position will report to the Senior Finance Manager, Commercial Finance and provide the Finance Director and Vice President, Regional Finance and Enterprise Commercial with financial insights and analytical support.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Manager, Finance Director and Vice President in partnering with the Regional Leadership Teams, and SVP of Commercial, and Commercial Operations in identifying and delivering value-creating analytics that enable better decision making in the Commercial organization
  • Own and manage full expense P&L for Commercial Enabling spend with direct oversight of Regional Commercial spend totaling ~$350M annually
  • Manage the monthly close process and related analysis, including Day +1 through Day+3 expense close and variance analysis inclusive of FTE reporting
  • Manage the annual budget, quarterly forecast and monthly outlook processes for the Commercial Enabling spend of ~$50M
  • Maintain cross-functional collaboration with Corporate Accounting, Corporate FP&A, Support Cost Finance, Regional Finance, Operations Finance, Sales Compensation and Commercial Analytics to facilitate accurate Commercial reporting/analysis, Outlook, and Budget processes
  • Ad-hoc analysis and strategic modeling for Commissions / Sales Compensation related items
  • Design, develop and implement methods and strategies to continually improve processes
  • Develop and deploy modern analytics solutions using BI tools to efficiently deliver KPIs to leadership around FTEs, Spend, and Sales Compensation

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
  • MBA preferred

Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of related experience in Finance or Accounting

Other:

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of BI suits is a strong plus (Power BI, Tableau, etc)
  • Ability to partner with and collaborate across functions/levels to deliver business results
  • Critical thinker with deep business and financial acumen particularly around financial modeling, return on investments analysis, and overall P&L management
  • Excellent communications and executive presentation skills, with strong capability to frame and influence management
  • Ability to effectively navigate in a matrix organization and engage in healthy debates to enhance the outcome of team decisions
