Overview

 This position will lead and support a variety of projects supporting strategic growth opportunities through development of key products and services for business success. They will lead projects and working teams to effectively initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and complete technology development Initiatives. They will work closely with Development teams and act as a liaison between Quest HAS Market Backed teams, leadership, functional and development teams. They will act as the development point person for all development and delivery, assuring flawless startup, execution and delivery. 

 

This professional can work in a 100% remote capacity and must be located in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong working relationship with all functional leaders and stakeholders. 
  • Owns projects, including timeline, deadlines, resource constraints, and deliverables / results. 
  • Shifts between the "big picture" and the small-but-crucial details. 
  • Leverages project management skills and capabilities to take projects from design ready to completion by identifying key milestones, and deliverables while identifying risk mitigation plans. 
  • Work with Business Product Teams, Technical Product Teams, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, RTEs and cross functional development teams for seamless understanding and transition of initiative understanding and requirements towards successful planning and development and deployment of product
  • Assess, mitigate, escalate and build transparency towards key initiative risks, impediments, dependencies and assumptions.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Work Experience:  

  • Work Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of successful technology project management
  • Must have a strong understanding of AGILE methodology including SCRUM and SAFe ceremonies
  • Exposure to data led initiatives

 

Physical and Mental Requirements:  

  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time 

 

Knowledge:  

  • Broad understanding of the laboratory business and its service requirements 
  • Strong Understanding of our Laboratory Products and Services to include:  
  • Information Technology knowledge to include: Quanum experience and Interface exposure. 
  • Pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical process understanding including specimen requirements and processes.

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree

Licenses/Certifications:
Certified Scrum Master - CSM (Preferred)
