The Health Plan Account Manager will retain and grow a book of business by managing day to day service requirement within the designated health plan customer segment and/or region.  A strong analystical background or data analysis experience is desired for startegis approaches in capitalizing on new business opportunities.  A strong customer service focus is a must in complementing this sales role.   

 

This is a field-based sales position supporting the Dallas AND/or Houston areas. Other larger cities such as San Antonio or Austin can also be considered for this sales territory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day service requirements for each client. 
  • Retention of the business through service excellence 
  • Maintains the key operational relationships at the client 
  • Contributes to the RFP and contracting processes for Health Plan Accounts. 
  • Upsells new product offerings and expansions, such as Anchor Tests, Wellness products or IT applications. 
  • Develops key organizational links to people and functions who can help resolve client problems. 
  • Collaborate with Health Plan Account Executive partners to ensure alignment on priority service issues. 
  • Develops financial analysis of denial recovery, contract performance and billing-related opportunities. 
  • Coordinate medical engagement and policy reviews. 
  • Coordinate with IT on eligibility and data agreements. 
  • Coordinate with Commercial reps and marketing. 

Qualifications

Required Work Experience:  

  • 5 years of account management experience in a medical background 
  • 3 years+ healthcare/payor experience including problem resolution, service management, relationship management.
  • Previous sales or manament in Health Plan Accounts is strongly desired experience

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required
