Main responsibilities will be sales & use tax and personal property tax compliance for assigned jurisdictions
Filing returns, making payments, performing monthly account reconciliation and audit for all transactional taxes
Assist in researching exemptions and developing tax positions

Maintaining Departmental Control Charts for his/her jurisdictions
Staying current on transactional tax law changes and regulations
Interfacing and participating on projects with Senior Indirect Tax Management
Supporting Tax Manager on ad hoc projects
Developing and analyzing data
Preparing monthly journal entries to reverse and accrue for proper taxation as well as allocating entries to accrue use tax to correct jurisdictions and legal entities
Making and developing improvement strategies for transactional tax processes
Active participant on assigned Innovation Projects
Ensure accurate, timely analysis of reconciliations including
Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax
Provide support with various internal audits and special tax related projects
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
CPA (preferred)
Required Work Experience:
At least a year of prior Sales & Use tax experience in a multi-entity, multi-state organization
Public accounting background is a plus
