Overview

The Engagement Leader – Dialysis Business Partnerships serves as the primary point of contact for external service providers supporting dialysis laboratory testing for dialysis providers. This role is responsible for ensuring that business partners and their clients receive best-in-class support across all key operational areas, including testing services, billing, IT connectivity, supplies, logistics, and customer service. The Engagement Leader will proactively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues, drive process improvements, and enhance service delivery.

 

This is a Remote opportunity. 

Travel : Up to 30% (Domestic)

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between Quest Diagnostics and service providers supporting dialysis laboratory testing, including clinical and environmental testing.
  • Ensure business partners and their clients receive seamless operational support for testing services, billing, IT connectivity, supply chain, logistics, customer service and internal and external physicians and pathologists.
  • Proactively identify and resolve service issues, ensuring continuous operational excellence and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Partner with internal teams (Operations, IT, Finance, Logistics, Quality, and Customer Support) to drive solutions that meet partner and client needs.
  • Monitor testing and service performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and collaborating on action plans.
  • Facilitate IT integrations to ensure smooth data exchange, LIMS connectivity, and electronic reporting for dialysis providers.
  • Oversee billing and reimbursement processes, working with revenue cycle teams to address disputes and streamline payments.
  • Support supply chain coordination, ensuring timely delivery of specimen collection materials and other necessary supplies.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture, acting as an advocate for business partners to drive service enhancements.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency enhancements.
  • Provide regular business reviews, reporting, and performance insights to internal leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

Required Work Experience: 

  • 7+ years of experience in client engagement, business partnerships, or operations within dialysis, laboratory services, or healthcare.

Preferred Work Experience: 

  • 5+ years of experience in client engagement, business partnerships, or operations within dialysis, laboratory services, or healthcare.

Knowledge: 

  • Strong understanding of dialysis laboratory testing workflows, clinical processes including logistics, IT connectivity, billing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with external service providers and drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation abilities

Skills: 

  • Excellent written and verbal skills, results oriented, and collaborative.
  • Experience with LIMS, EHR integrations, and IT connectivity for laboratory operations.
  • Knowledge of laboratory billing, reimbursement, and revenue cycle processes for dialysis services.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and implement process improvements.
