Pay Range: $160K-$190K / year
Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

The marketing technology director is responsible for understanding marketing outcomes that deliver upon Quest’s business objectives, mapping out a long-term strategy for achieving those outcomes, and implementing projects that will execute that strategy step-by-step. You are both a strategic thinker and a hands-on operator, primarily leveraging expertise in the SFSMC platform. Your focus is on the technical roadmap including platform integrations, solutions leveraging functionality, strategic thought leadership, and team performance.
o You will lead the technical aspects of Quest patient communication across multiple business units, partnering with marketing and business leaders to understand business goals. o You will provide solution architecture for complex business problems and collaborate with internal teams to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions. o Develops, tests, and documents email development, setup and query data extension, marketing automations, journeys, SMS communications, and campaign configuration o Administers the creation and management of new and existing Marketing Cloud instances and business units o Develops and documents specific training requirements o Provides data model design and implementation o Implements key integrations between Marketing Cloud and the broader Quest IT ecosystem o Collaborates with internal and agency teams during workshops, discovery sessions, etc. o Consults on best practices, governance, and compliance on marketing automation platforms within the organization o Manages an agile team within the Digital Center of Excellence with direct and indirect employees. Responsible for hiring, performance reviews, training, work prioritization, coaching. o Reports to the Sr. Director, Digital Marketing

Required Work Experience: · 10+ years’ experience in developing technology solutions · 7+ years’ experience working on the Marketing Cloud and Salesforce.com platforms · Must have 5+ years’ experience managing agile teams · Experience with HTML, SQL, SOQL, or other similar languages · Must have experience working with Tealium · Experience using Marketing Cloud AMPscript · Experience with APEX and REST/SOAP APIs · Deep expertise in one or more marketing areas, such as marketing automation, cross-channel customer engagement tactics, analytics, and optimization. You also have a functional knowledge spanning across many marketing skills that you can draw on for successful strategic insight.
Preferred Work Experience: · Ability to organize and lead cross functional sessions that result in clear requirements and technical design, even when working with non-technical members of teams · Marketing Cloud Certifications including: Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Developer, or Marketing Cloud Consultant
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, marketing, etc. Master’s degree in computer science, business, marketing, etc.
Knowledge: · Demonstrated expertise in CRM integrations in matrixed organizations in highly regulated industries. · Understanding of current privacy regulations and their impact to marketing technology use
Skills: · Strong collaboration skills · Excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies · Detail-oriented individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies · Skilled in all aspects of system design including data modeling, integration design, business process implementation, etc. · Have a solid understanding of delivery methodology and ability to implement solutions according to the design/architecture · Demonstrated success in performing work on complex and/or large consulting projects · Strong written and oral communication skills · Excellent problem-solving skills · Be independent and self-driven
