Overview

Pay Range: $72,000 - $100,000 / year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Supports the financial results and strategic initiatives tied to Health Plan performance, providing competitive market intelligence leveraging price transparency data.  Assisting in strategic business decisions helping to ensure long term growth and profitability of third-party payors. Towards this goal, this role will work closely with Health Plan Sales, Health Plan Pricing and the Senior Finance Leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Support price transparency initiatives for Health Plans
  • Extract price transparency data using SQL into Excel
    • Perform analysis on transparency data in Excel
    • Load Findings into price transparency database
    • Highlight and present key market intelligence findings
  • Create and maintain standardized reporting for price transparency in Excel and PowerBI
  • Partner with IT and 3rd party vendor to design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming large volumes data
  • Partner with the Health Plan sales team to provide competitive insights for contract renewals, customer discussions, and strategic decision making
  • Work cross-functionally with the Health Plan Finance team on data analyses for pricing projects and ad hoc requests
  • Special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics or related field
  • One to Two years of work experience in Finance or related fields is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Strong data management skills
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Proficiency with business intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Tableau
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience with Python is a plus
  • Innovative thinker comfortable with ambiguity to complete tasks
  • Ability to work effectively cross-functionally in a matrix environment and build/maintain relationships
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
