The Manager of Commercial Analytics serves as a strategic partner to Workforce Health Solutions (WHS), driving business performance through data-driven insights and advanced analytics. 

 

Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations, this role leads the development and execution of a commercial analytics strategy, leveraging internal and external data to guide forecasting, market planning, and commercial decision-making. The Manager collaborates cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, and other key stakeholders to align analytics with business goals and ensure effective execution.

 

This is a hybrid position (Lenexa, KS based).

Responsibilities

  • Design and manage dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce) to track sales performance (e.g., pipeline health, conversion rates, regional trends) and enable predictive analytics around customer behavior, market trends, and revenue potential.
  • Analyze deal outcomes (e.g., win/loss) to improve sales tactics, and provide sales teams with actionable insights, case studies, and client-specific recommendations. Deliver quarterly performance outlooks and guide go-to-market strategies.
  • Lead national and regional market analysis and modeling to inform business planning, resource allocation, and opportunity identification. Develop tools to integrate and visualize complex data for strategic use.
  • Partner with internal teams (Finance, Legal, Medical, Compliance) and external stakeholders to ensure analytics support business initiatives and priorities. Represent analytics in commercial meetings and planning sessions.
  • Prioritize analytics projects, manage resources, and potentially lead a team of analysts. Provide coaching and support for professional development and drive the adoption of advanced analytics methods across WHS.
  • Collaborate with Operations to analyze patient behavior and identify new business opportunities. Support Marketing with data-driven insights to optimize promotional strategies and local execution.
  • Train commercial teams on data use in client engagements and keep stakeholders informed with regular updates on market conditions, product developments, and competitive dynamics.
  • Serve as a backup for other Commercial Operations and Analytics team members to ensure seamless execution of strategic priorities.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of analysts to drive predictive insights and support strategic initiatives across WHS.

Qualifications

Required Work Experience:

  • 3+ years of work experience analyzing and interpreting data to identify risks and opportunities for the company to develop business plans and commercial strategies.

Preferred Work Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in quantitative analysis of sales, finance, and marketing data and market trends/analysis, competitive analysis, market research, and financial modeling

Knowledge:

  • Understanding business principles and tactical levers to pull.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Use of Tableau for data visualization preferred.
  • Tableau and PowerBI training/certification preferred.

Bachelor’s Degree Required
