Overview

Pay Range: $96,000 - $133,000 / year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

This Senior Financial Analyst (SFA) position will report to the Finance Manager (FM) and will be a key finance business partner to the Oncology and Genetics Franchises, R&D, (together OGR&D) and Quality & Regulatory Affairs (Q&RA) within Quest. The SFA will support the Finance Manager and Sr. Director, be a finance business partner to the OGR&D and Q&RA business leaders and their extended teams, providing financial insights to help drive growth.

The individual in this role will need to be agile, adaptable, and flexible given the dynamic nature of the businesses and will work with the Finance Manager and business partners to:

  • Create financial ROI models supporting proposed new product launches / initiatives
  • Provide monthly financial support of the business partners’ P&L and capital investments
  • Participate in strategic planning to grow the business
  • Build and maintain enhanced reporting capabilities, including reporting dashboards, automations and other enhanced technology solutions to drive financial insights

Responsibilities

  • Support the business leadership by helping formulate business strategy, conduct strategic analysis, and provide financial insights on new product launches / initiatives
  • Take ownership of the business partners’ expense P&L and present monthly financial performance to various levels of management
  • Provide leadership with monthly update on capital investment tracking, and support capital funding requests for business partners
  • Partner with the product teams and cross-functional partners (e.g. Commercial, Project Management, Strategic Pricing, Technology etc.) to develop annual business plans and track performance
  • Leverage new technology and AI to simplify/optimize/automate existing dashboard and reporting tools, and synthesize information from various sources Create operating financial models for product-based M&A transactions
  • Support VP Finance / Sr. Finance Director with various ad-hoc requests to drive franchise strategy

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • CPA or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of three years years of relevant work experience
  • Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates a strong knowledge of operational and financial processes
  • Customer service focus in working with senior management and functional subject matter experts
  • Strong Excel skills are desired; experience in PowerBI and/or Tableau preferred
  • Attention to detail
