Overview

The product lead for consent will assess market and business needs to deliver a single source of truth solution for Quest Diagnostics which gathers, stores, and provides access to downstream applications to appropriately share client and patient data or contact clients and patients based on data rights and consent. The lead will work with regulatory and compliance subject matter experts to ensure Quest’s solution meets all applicable requirements and will serve as the solution advocate to maximize adoption and to ensure other applications do not veer from the centralized solution.

 

Pay Range: $100 - $120 / year

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering requirements and set a vision and strategic plan for the solution.
  • Defining optimal user experience and outcomes.
  • Establishing a roadmap, developing requirements, and working with architecture to document a solution.
  • Leading a matrix team to deliver the end solution.
  • Ensuring the solution can be monitored and maintained.
  • Gathering LOEs and managing to a budget.

Qualifications

Education:  Bachelor's degree preferred or equivelant work experience.

 

Required Work Experience: 

  • 2-5+ years' experience in a similar role 

Preferred Work Experience: 

  • Experience with HIPAA consent and use of consent in interoperability data exchange workflows for TPO and beyond.
  • Experience working with consent within TPO workflows, data storage and access.
  • Experience working with internal and external entities, covered and non-covered entities, care adjacencies such as payers, pharmaceuticals, and research.

Physical and Mental Requirements: 

  • Proven ability to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, and make recommendations that influence successful product outcomes
  • Self-driven, highly motivated individual

Knowledge: 

  • Knowledge of HIPAA consent, and rules around sharing of protected health information with, and without, consent.
  • Knowledge of consent implications in clinical data exchange flows (i.e., Interoperability).
  • Knowledge of HIPAA use cases and applicability of consent, data exchange, roles (i.e., providers, payers, patients).
  • Knowledge of expanded use cases and consent; i.e., non-covered entities.
  • Knowledge of clinical workflows, use of information within workflows.
  • Knowledge of marketing and communication consent.

 

Skills: 

  • Experience in designing and delivering platform-based solutions.
  • Experience in delivering solutions which adhere to regulatory standards.
  • Familiarity with interoperability standards and use of consent in data exchange.
  • Experience integrating with top EHRs such as Epic, Cerner, Athena, or ECW or major platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Understanding of HIPAA Treatment, Payment and Operation use cases.
  • Understanding of campaign and notification consent best practices and solutions.
