Overview

Front-line sales leader responsible for execution of the commercial strategy for profitable growth in geographic area for specialized sales and service representatives.  Manages Account Executives in the Nephrology call point.  Develops strong relationships with clients through regular field visits and ongoing account ownership.

 

This position may be based in New England, Texas, Georgia or Florida.

Responsibilities

 

  • Attains regional goals for Kidney Care channel 
  • Hires, trains and retains an effective sales team 
  • Coaches, motivates and develops sales talent 
  • Establishes regional action plans and market strategies 
  • Sets metrics and accountability standards to drive performance towards goals 
  • Manages and measures sales force performance and provide feedback to reps 
  • Conducts district analytics, market intelligence 
  • Facilitates problem solving and customer satisfaction 
  • Supports key account development and collaborate on large deals 
  • Nurtures relationships with all clients through regular field travel (80% travel/50% overnight) 
  • Provide input to regional marketing plans 
  • Work with National ESD Cardiology on all franchise initiatives 

Qualifications

Required Work Experience: 

  • Eight years sales management experience in healthcare environment; prefer diagnostics or medical sales 
  • Demonstrated success operating in a collaborative  and effective manner in a matrixed organization 

Physical and Mental Requirements:  

  • This position may require long periods of sitting 
  • This position may require long periods of staring into a computer screen 

Knowledge:  

  • Demonstrated knowledge of sales processes 
  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Nephrology and Dialysis 
  • Business acumen measures 

Skills:  

  • Ability to manage sales team within the Nephrology call point 
  • Consult with Quest Leaders, and Account Executives 
  • Collaborate with Health Systems team to sell kidney care services 
  • Achievement of national Kidney Care revenue budget 
  • Execution of sales strategy  
  • Client retention 
  • Price realization; national Kidney Care Test Margin 
  • Selling costs to budget 
  • Sales force engagement, retention and development

Bachelor’s Degree(Required)
